Enhancements maximize and automate physician practice reporting, collections and reimbursement; MDs gain financial edge during economic downturn
DALLAS, TX — March 30, 2009 — iMedica Corporation, a leading developer of healthcare software solutions for physician practices, today announced the availability of its Patient Relationship Manager™ (PRM) 2009. PRM 2009 is the latest version of iMedica’s award- winning Electronic Health Record (EHR) and Practice Management (PM) solution.

PRM 2009 features enhanced usability and processing speed, smoother workflow for lab orders and results, improved knowledge database editing and the ability to chart a patient visit note and create a “superbill” in a manner similar to writing a progress report. On the practice management side, PRM 2009 introduces a cleaner superbill with UB-04 functionality, splitting superbills by service site and integrated credit card processing.
PRM 2009 also helps physicians become eligible for incentives, including the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services’ (CMS) e-prescribing initiative and the Physician Quality Reporting Initiative (PQRI), through which physicians can easily earn up to four percent on Medicare reimbursements. Because iMedica automates compliance and documentation, physicians can qualify and receive incentives from both programs with no additional work.

The PRM 2009 single-application, single-database solution, which is built on Microsoft’s .NET technology, builds upon the previous version of iMedica’s PRM software.
