Address will highlight findings from the KLAS Arch Collaborative about what drives EHR success; Aprima updates, boot camps, wide-ranging educational topics to be featured at annual event

DALLAS (August 2, 2018) – Aprima Medical Software, a leading provider of innovative electronic health record (EHR), practice management (PM) and revenue cycle management (RCM) solutions for medical practices, is pleased to announce that Mike Davis, KLAS Arch Collaborative Ambassador, former Managing Vice President of Gartner’s Healthcare Research & Advisory Service and former Executive Vice President of HIMSS Analytics, will be the keynote speaker at the Aprima 2018 User Conference, on August 17-19 at the Gaylord Texan Resort Hotel & Conference Center in Grapevine, Texas.

In Davis’s August 17th presentation, he will share key learnings from a comprehensive study of EHR best practices by the Arch Collaborative from KLAS Research, a leading independent research firm. Davis will reveal findings based on 600,000 data points collected from over 50,000 EHR users, including 20,000 physicians, that User Conference attendees can use to help drive their practices’ improved success.

The KLAS Arch Collaborative research study has identified common factors among provider practices that have achieved the greatest success with EHR deployments. Among the valuable insights of the study, Mike will share:

  • Top predictors of users’ success with EHRs
  • How to make Aprima consistently valuable for clinicians
  • The areas to target that most consistently increase user efficiency and EHR satisfaction

During the keynote address, Aaron Gleave, KLAS Clinical Research Director will  speak to the rigorous process of becoming Best in KLAS and the details about how Aprima won the 2018 Best in KLAS award in the Small Practice Ambulatory EMR/PM category (1-10 physicians).

Participants in this year’s Aprima User Conference can earn up to 15.5 Continuing Medical Education (CME) credits. They can also attend pre-conference Boot Camps on how to optimize their use of Aprima. Additionally, Diamond Sponsor Surescripts will be hosting a special Boot Camp that will discuss their capabilities that have been integrated in Aprima to help inform care decisions and improve outcomes at the point of care.

There will also be special sessions on MIPS, care plan oversight, chronic care management, cyber security, protecting profits, and managing a practice’s online reputation, among other topics. In addition, exhibitors at the User Conference will display a variety of products that extend Aprima’s capabilities.

“All Aprima customers can benefit from the information and education, including CME credits, that they will receive at our 2018 User Conference,” said Michael Nissenbaum, president and CEO of Aprima. “By learning how to best use Aprima’s features and listening to the exciting presentations by Mike Davis and others about EHR best practices, they will come away with new knowledge that will help them become more successful.”
