Aprima and Etransmedia Announce Agreement to Offer Aprima EHR/PM to Customers of Allscripts MyWay™ Currently Using Etransmedia Hosting
Dallas, TX (March 25, 2014) – Aprima Medical Software and Etransmedia announced today that customers of Allscripts MyWay™ who are currently using Etransmedia for support and hosting services will now be able to upgrade to Aprima for their EHR (electronic health record) and PM (practice management) needs.

Etransmedia and Aprima have created two options for Etransmedia customers: either become a client of Aprima, or use the Aprima system but remain a hosted client of Etransmedia. Since October 2012, when Allscripts announced that it would not develop or update the Allscripts MyWay™ product to be in compliance with government incentives and requirements such as Meaningful Use and ICD-10, over 1,500 former customers of Allscripts MyWay™ have chosen to upgrade to Aprimaas the best and obvious choice for their practice. That number is growing daily.
Rather than migrate to Allscripts Pro™ – which requires a change in systems, plus a potentially arduous data conversion and retraining period, potentially creating mental, physical and financial disruption to the practice – providers from all over the country are taking advantage of the Aprima Rescue Plan™ for customers of Allscripts MyWay™.
